HEADER FEATURES

• 2.0" O.D. Primary Tubes

• 3.5" Collectors, equipped with O2 bungs

• 3/8" thick Flanges, laser-cut, contoured for a leak free fit

• One piece header tubes / No slip tubes

• Under chassis design: Above the steering center link design offers maximum header to ground clearance

• Header Material: Constructed of 16 gauge mild steel tubing. Mandrel bent on sophisticated computer controlled bending machines for precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow. The mandrel bending process maintains a constant inside diameter of the tube for a smoother finish with no restriction of flow and no crimping of the tubes.

1. PLATFORM: 67-76 A-BODY, 62-74 B-BODY and 70-74 E-BODY

2. V8 ENGINES: 6.1L SRT8, 6.2L Demon, 6.2L Hellcat*, 6.4L 392 Apache, 7.0L Hellephant

Headers were designed to fit with the engines located to the factory specifications. If the engine is not located correctly in the chassis, the headers will not fit properly. We strongly suggest you check your engine location prior to installation.

3. CYLINDER HEADS: OEM

4. FRONT SUSPENSION: OEM or EQUIVALENT, RETAINING THE TORSION BARS

• UniSteer Performance Rack and Pinion: Headers will not clear.

• Firm Feel fast ratio pitman & idler arm: Headers will not clear. The Firm Feel arm is 3/4" longer than the stock arm. (The OEM arm measures 5-1/4" from center to center)

5. ENGINE MOUNTS: OUR MODIFIED DESIGN MOTOR MOUNTS/SPOOL MOUNTS ARE REQUIRED, sold separately. [TTi Motor mounts]

6. AUTO TRANS: 904, 727

• 545RFE Transmission: Headers will not clear the passenger-side bell-housing.

• GM 4L60E Transmission: Headers will not clear, modification required.

• Floor Shift: Some applications may require the adjustable swivel & the lower rod to be re-positioned to clear the header collector. ◊ Click here to see illustration [3703]

7. STANDARD TRANS: A833 4-SPEED, TKO500* 5-SPEED, TKO600* 6-SPEED, T56 TRANS

• Z-bar Clutch Linkage...

67-76 A-body applications must use a hydraulic clutch. However, DIY Z-bar clearance can be achieved by modifying the mechanical Z-bar clutch linkage. TTi does not make a clutch linkage to satisfy this situation.

62-74 B-body & 70-74 E-body applications can use a hydraulic or mechanical Mopar clutch linkage system. *Tremec TKO-500/600: (!) Correct installation of the Tremec Transmissions is imperative. The output-end of the tail shaft must be in exactly the same position as the stock transmission output shaft for the headers to fit properly.

8. FLOOR SHIFT: YES • Auto Trans: Some applications may require the adjustable swivel & the lower rod to be re-positioned to clear the header collector. ◊ Click here to see illustration [3703]

9. COLUMN SHIFT: NO • HOWEVER, column shift clearance can be achieved by modifying your shift linkage. TTi does not make a linkage to satisfy this situation.

11. MANUAL STEERING: YES

12. POWER-STEERING: 62-74 B-BODY and 70-74 E-BODY: OEM & BORGESON UNIT 67-76 A-BODY: BORGESON UNIT ONLY

67-76 A-body Note: DIY modification required to the units mounting holes. The three mounting holes must be elongated to .810" to allow the steering unit to be moved away from the engine for adequate clearance from the header tubes.

13. AIR CONDITIONING: YES – HEADERS WILL CLEAR THE FOLLOWING A/C COMPRESSORS...

• Chrysler/Mopar part no’s: 68202994AA (superseded no’s 68028917AB, 68028917AC, 68028917AD, 68028917AE, RL028917AB, RL028917AC) and 68158259AE (superseded no’s 68158259AC, 68158259AD) • Bouchillon Performance Engineering part no: 64F917

NO – HEADERS WILL NOT CLEAR THE FACTORY LOW-MOUNT A/C COMPRESSOR #4596492AC...

Drivers-side header will not clear in A, B or E-body applications, however, DIY clearance can be achieved in B & E-body applications by making a small indentation in the #1 header tube to clear this factory low-mount compressor. See illustration sheet #920AC

14. STARTERS:

(!) STARTER MUST BE LOCATED ON THE DRIVERS-SIDE FOR THESE HEADERS TO FIT.

(!) THE FOLLOWING STARTERS HAVE BEEN FIT-CHECKED WITH THESE HEADERS AND FOUND THERE TO BE NO CLEARANCE ISSUES...

• AUTO TRANS / STANDARD TRANS with a 10.5" flywheel (130-tooth ring gear)... Powermaster Performance XS Torque starter part no: 9523 (Catalog pg. 30) Bouchillon Performance starter part no: 61R736

• STANDARD TRANS with an 11" flywheel (143-tooth ring gear)... Chrysler starter part no': 56029274AA Bouchillon Performance starter part no: 61R736

15. BELL-HOUSING: OEM or EQUIVALENT • 545RFE Transmission: Headers will not clear the passenger-side bell-housing.

16. OIL FILTER: OEM or REMOTE MOUNT • 67-76 A-body, 62-65 B-body & 73-74 B-body applications: An oil filter blocking plate is required in conjunction with a remote mounted oil filter kit. Sold separately, part no: FBP5761 • 66-74 B-body & 70-74 E-body applications: An angled Jeep/Truck OEM filter adapter is required. • Remote oil filter kits available through Milodon, part no: 21560

17. OIL PANS: OEM, MILODON or EQUIVALENT: • Milodon part no: 31000 (Will not clear part no's: 31002, 31003)
