Product Description

The best cost effective choice for the performance minded Chrysler enthusiast. Convert your stock iron head to the 440-SR and your intake, headers, rocker shafts, rocker arms, valve covers, pistons, either domes or flattops, will work.

This is the most versatile head we have it is a bolt on 60 to 75 HP in stock form. A fully ported stock iron head isn't as good as a stock 440-SR. It can be used as a daily driver. Or in fully ported form to the max wedge size we have Dyno tested 670 HP at 500" on pump gas, the engine we built for Hot Rod TV. The 440-SR makes the perfect replacement head for bracket cars, and have a power upgrade tool!

- 440-SR heads with Indy valves, no block or head milling, we use the following pushrod lengths:

- RB solid 9.750

- RB hydraulic 9.500

- B solid 9.000

- B hydraulic 8.750

- Roller cam pushrod length must be checked

- Best engine range 383" to 500"

- Uses stock sheetmetal valley pan with 1/2" end rail spacer or Indy valley plate 440-6 or 400-6
