These Hedman stainless steel headers are manufactured from T-304 stainless steel instead of less expensive 409. Only a handful of manufacturers build their headers in stainless; they typically use Type 409 grade material. These headers have a higher chromium and nickel content that provides superior heat and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the Hedman stainless steel headers will not rust or flake like 409 stainless steel. They will retain a cleaner look and hold up to extreme temperatures. These headers also feature heavy-duty, 3/8 in. thick, laser-cut flanges, and all primary tubes have smooth flowing mandrel bends. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. These headers come available in Hedman's HTC ceramic coating or a natural finish.
